I've had both, however the Lyrik was the older "RC" which is basically the same as the Select. I wouldn't say 1 is drastically better than the other, I prefer the fox due to the much stiffer chassis (the rythym uses thicker stanchions and heavier lowers/CSU) so there is a weight "pentalty" of sorts but I'd take the added stiffness any day.
